Product Safety Officer

Goal of the training:

Participants will learn about the VW Group's requirements for a product safety representative, the product safety representative's tasks, responsibilities, decision-making powers and role in the organisation. The participants will understand the quality management and risk management skills required of a VW Product Safety Representative, his/her responsibilities for new product launches, complaints, running series and communication with customers. It will become clear what the VW Group expects from its suppliers as an organisation in terms of product safety - the course will also provide an overview of the relevant requirements of Formel Q-Konkret and Formel Q-Fähigkeit. In addition, participants will learn about the legal background of product liability and product safety, so that they are prepared to work on the identification and mitigation of the associated risks.
