Process Management

The effectiveness and success of a company depends on the objectives - processes - organisation - technology, designed in line with environmental opportunities and requirements. Processes create the link between corporate goals, strategy, environmental expectations and what happens in the real world. Processes can be defined as a sequence of (planned) events or activities to achieve an expectation, requirement or objective. The most important task of a manager is to develop and implement processes in his or her area that help to achieve and fulfil the objectives and requirements set for the operation of the area. An area is well managed and controlled if the colleagues working in the area know and apply the process rules formulated for the area and are able to reliably meet the objectives and satisfy the requirements formulated for the area without continuous management guidance, communication and intervention.

In our experience, two key elements of corporate competitiveness and excellence

the operation of continuously improved, reliable processes
and the right organisational culture.
If a company has outstanding practices in these areas, it has a long-term competitive advantage that cannot simply be copied or bought, but can only be developed by long-term consistent work with competitors.

True capabilities that create lasting value and competitive advantage need to be invested in and can only be achieved through persistent work and effort to increase knowledge within the organisation through the development of processes and the competencies of the people working in the organisation.

And to create excellent processes and an excellent organisational culture, you need excellent leaders (in key positions) who consciously develop company processes, standards of behaviour, and set an example and direction for their colleagues.

Our process management principles:

Improve processes to improve operations
Process improvement should be driven by strategic objectives and customer needs.
Effective process improvement requires the involvement and active collaboration of key people in the field
An integrated approach. Processes must be developed in an integrated way with the company's management systems (performance measurement, evaluation, incentives, IT applications, standards, 5S, visual control) to achieve sustainable results in the long term.
Documenting, analysing and improving processes is only as good as the practical implementation of these processes in the work of the people working in the field
